Sliding Security Doors
The wall of glass between kitchen and backyard, open from June to October.
The summer door
Where SoCal actually lives
Every Southern California floor plan funnels to the same place: the slider between the kitchen and the yard. It carries the barbecue traffic, the kids' laps to the pool, the evening cross-breeze that makes September bearable. It deserves better than a wobbly aluminum bug screen.
Our sliding door puts 316 marine-grade stainless mesh in that opening without changing how it feels to use. It rides its own track on stainless rollers, tuned until it moves with one finger, and locks with its own latch - independent of the glass. The practical result: the glass door stands open for the whole season, the view across the patio stays clean, and the opening simply stops being something anyone thinks about.

Questions
About sliding doors
Does the security slider replace my existing sliding glass door?
No - it runs on its own track alongside your existing slider, usually where a flimsy insect screen sits today. Your glass door is untouched. The security screen slides independently, so the glass can stand fully open all afternoon while the screen keeps the opening covered.
Will it glide as smoothly as a normal screen slider?
Better, usually. Stainless steel rollers are sized for the extra weight of the mesh, and every install is squared and tuned by hand. One-finger operation is the standard we leave behind - if it drags, we haven't finished.
Can it be locked while the glass door is open?
Yes - that is the everyday use. The screen locks independently of the glass with its own stainless latch, so the house stays wide open to the backyard air all evening with the screen doing the work.
What does a sliding security door cost?
