The short answer: Daylight Steel is an Orange County security screen door installer that measures and installs in all 39 communities, from Seal Beach to San Clemente, coast to canyon. The range is hinged doors at $2,475, sliding doors at $2,675, French pairs at $4,475 and security window screens from $825, all in 316 marine-grade stainless mesh on Vista Security Screens systems, at the same flat installed price in every city per our published pricing. Every visit starts with an in-home measure by our own employees, never subcontractors, and the manufacturer's 10-year powder-coating color warranty on mesh and panels; 1 year on hardware comes in writing with the quote.
The coast
Salt air is the whole reason our mesh is 316 marine grade - the alloy boat fittings are specified in. From the old-town cottages of Seal Beach to the bluff decks of San Clemente, these are the homes where cheaper steel quietly pits and rusts, and where a screen door earns its keep every evening the slider stands open.
South county
Master-planned country, which mostly means one thing for a door project: the HOA packet. Openings here are largely standard sizes, so the flat price applies almost every time, and we hand you the full architectural submission packet at the in-home measure. North county
The widest mix of housing in the county, from Anaheim colony-district heritage homes to hillside ranch estates in Yorba Linda. Older openings are where genuinely non-standard sizes live, and every door we build is custom fabricated to the opening anyway - the flat price covers standard sizes, and we say so before anyone visits.
Central
Craftsman blocks in Floral Park, Old Towne Orange, old-town Tustin: neighborhoods where the door has to look like it belongs. Ten standard powder-coat colors are included in the flat price, and we bring the real chips to the measure so you can hold them against your trim.

Does the price change depending on my city?
No. One flat installed price per product everywhere we work - hinged doors are $2,475 in every one of our 39 communities, coast or canyon, and the written quote at your in-home measure matches it. Nothing about the number depends on your zip code.
Who actually comes to my house?
Our own trained employees, for both the measure and the install - we never send subcontractors. The people who carry the tape measure carry the Daylight Steel name.
What if my city is not on this list?
The list is all of Orange County, so if you are in the county we cover you even if your neighborhood name is not shown. Outside the county, ask anyway - we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you, and the rest of Southern California is on our roadmap.
