The free measure
We come to you, walk the openings you care about, and measure each one to the millimeter. You handle real mesh and frame samples against your own paint and light. Before we leave, you have a written, itemized quote - matching the ranges already published on our pricing page.
The build
Every door and screen is custom fabricated to your exact openings on Vista Security Screens systems - 316 high-tensile mesh tensioned into the frame, powder-coat cured in your chosen color, hardware fitted and cycled. Your written quote includes your build timeline and full warranty terms, and we confirm the install date as fabrication wraps.
The install
Our own installers - never subcontractors - hang, square, and tune each piece until it operates with one finger. Most doors are in within two hours. We test every lock with you, walk through care and warranty, and haul away your old screen door on request.

About the process
How long does the whole process take?
The measure takes about 45 minutes. Fabrication time depends on door type, size, and color - your written quote states your build timeline so there is no guessing. Install day itself is usually under two hours per door.
Do I need to prepare anything before the measure?
Nothing. Clear access to the doorways you are considering is all we need. If you have HOA guidelines or paint codes you want matched, having those handy speeds up color selection - but we can always follow up.
Is there any obligation after the free measure?
None. The quote is written, itemized, and yours to keep. Our pricing is already published on this site, so the measure is about confirming your exact openings and options - not about getting a salesperson through the door.
What maintenance do the doors need?
Very little. An occasional rinse with fresh water keeps the 316 mesh bright - worth doing a few times a year within a mile or two of the ocean. Hinges and locks are stainless and sealed; if anything ever feels less than smooth, we come back and tune it.
