Security screen doors in Ladera Ranch

Made for a community that was designed around its porches

Made for Ladera Ranch

Doors that fit how Ladera Ranch lives

Ladera Ranch was master-planned around a specific idea: houses pulled close to the sidewalk, garages tucked behind, and front porches doing the social heavy lifting. Two decades on, this unincorporated south Orange County community still runs on porch culture - evening walks, kids looping the paseos, neighbors who actually stop to talk. A Daylight Steel door completes the design. With the front door open behind our 316 marine-grade stainless mesh, the porch and the front room become one continuous space: you hear the street, feel the coastal air that drifts up the canyons in the evening, and stay part of the passing scene while dinner's on the stove.

The mesh can't be cut or kicked in - one sentence of security, as promised - and it looks like a refined screen door rather than a fortress, which matters in neighborhoods that care about a consistent streetscape. Our installers measure and fit every door themselves, matching frame styles and colors to Ladera's mix of cottage, Craftsman, and Spanish elevations. It's the piece of hardware this community was implicitly designed around: a front door that's easy to leave open.

Local questions

Asked in Ladera Ranch

Will a security screen door pass muster with our HOA's design standards?

Ours is designed with exactly that review in mind. The profile is clean and architectural, there are no bars or ornamental grilles, and the finish palette includes the neutral tones that planned-community guidelines generally favor. From the sidewalk it reads as a quality screen door consistent with Ladera's streetscape. We're happy to provide product details and finish specs for your association's approval process.

Does the mesh cut us off from the porch and the street?

The opposite - it's what lets the front room join them. The stainless weave is fine enough to see through clearly from inside, so with the door open you're still part of the porch scene: kids on the paseo, neighbors walking by, evening light coming in. Sound carries through too. You're connected to the street, just without the flies and moths.

Can you also do our French doors or patio slider?

Yes. Ladera homes often have as much life flowing through the back of the house as the front, and we build security screens for sliders and French door pairs using the same 316 stainless mesh and matching finishes. Doing the front entry and rear doors together keeps the whole house breathing on summer evenings and keeps the hardware visually consistent.

What do your doors cost in Ladera Ranch?

You can find out tonight without talking to a salesperson: our pricing is published openly on our website, which is genuinely rare in this business. Configurations vary - single entries, door pairs, sliders - so the final number comes from an in-home measurement by our installer, confirmed with you before anything is manufactured. What we publish is what things actually cost.
