The listings at Lowe's and Home Depot describe high-tensile stainless steel and stop there. Within a few miles of the coast that gap is worth chasing down, because 304 and 316 age very differently in salt air. The warranty sheet packed with Titan's retail doors, published jointly under the UHD and Titan names, is a 10-year replacement warranty, extendable to 15 years by registering the product online. Two clauses deserve a close read before a self-install: failure to follow the included installation instructions voids the warranty, and a warranty replacement covers the product only, so the labor to fit the new door is yours. Pre-installed components such as locks, handles, and rollers are covered for one year. None of that is unusual for retail products; it just rewards careful reading. Daylight Steel's warranty is simpler to hold: a 10-year manufacturer powder-coat warranty on mesh and panels, a 1-year hardware warranty, and the installing company and the warranty contact are the same people.
