1. What exactly is the mesh?

Alloy grade (304 vs 316), wire diameter, and weave. Get it in writing from both of us. Our answer: woven marine-grade 316 stainless on every product, no lower tier - here's why that matters.

2. How is the mesh held in the frame?

A security screen fails at its weakest joint, and that's usually where mesh meets frame. Ask each vendor to explain their retention system and show you a corner sample at the measure. Ours comes with us to every appointment.

3. Who actually installs?

Employees or subcontractors, and who returns if a door needs tuning later. Our answer: our own team, both times, every time.

4. What does the warranty cover - mesh, coating, and hardware?

Read both documents side by side, including the corrosion terms if you're coastal. Exclusions tell you more than the headline years do.

5. Will they tell you the price before they're in your living room?

We publish ours: the full table is here. If the other quote only exists after a sales visit, ask yourself why - then at least use our numbers as your negotiating floor. Genuinely, take them with you.
